The pearl of the blue valley

The Antholz Valley is often referred to as “the blue valley” because this water-rich valley is characterized by idyllic mountain lakes, impressive waterfalls, gentle streams and water adventure areas for families.

A highlight of the Blue Valley is undoubtedly Lake Antholz, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps: embedded in deep green coniferous forests and surrounded by the breathtaking mountain backdrop of the Rieserferner Group, this splendid lake invites you to unforgettable experiences.

There is a nature adventure trail of 16 stations around Lake Antholz where you can find out interesting details about nature and various aspects of Lake Antholz.

Not too far from our hotel is located the world-famous and much photographed Lake Braies, or the picturesque Obersee at Stallersattel, or the two rushing Egger and Klammbach waterfalls, or for Kneipp fans who love the freshness and power of water there is the water adventure area “Wasserwaldele”. If desired, guided water adventure hikes can also be booked.
